Covid 19 update from Portal Crane Parts, ltd.

Portal Crane is responding to the Covid19 pandemic with guidance from the health professionals in our area.  While responding we remain committed to our clients, suppliers and employees during this time.

Steps we have taken have been guided by the BC Center for Disease Control (BC CDC) with regards to enhanced cleaning and twice daily disinfecting of common surfaces and reinforced hand hygiene. We are monitoring both the BC CDC web site and the Canada.ca public health website.

Further we have educated all our employees on social distancing and restricted visits to those that are necessary only (site visits for quotes and preventative maintenance inspections, etc.). While we remain open, we will not be shaking hands and we will try and keep 6 feet apart at all times at a client site and at our office.

We have asked our partners to see if we can change our in-person meetings to online if possible.

Finally, we have told all employees that if they feel ill to stay home. They should then go to the BC CDC website to see the symptom tracker. If they feel concerned still, they are to take steps as advised by the BC CDC and to call for support from them if required.

We are trying to do our part to keep this virus from spreading so that we can support all our family, friends and partners.
