Yes we do, our Preventative Maintenance Inspections are among the most comprehensive and thorough crane service programs. Our fully qualified crane technicians will complete a detailed inspection of your equipment locating potential safety issues, while simultaneously performing a series of maintenance tasks designed to prevent possible breakdowns and failures in the near future. Maintenance and annual inspections are required by WorkSafeBC.

What is a Storm Brake?
Answer:
Just to give an example think of it like this, our Storm Brakes would be like a brake for a car, except it would be for your rail mounted cranes. These Storm Brakes will help your rail mounted cranes avoid dangerous unwanted movment that could jeopardize your operations or employees safety.

Covid-19 Procedures
Please Follow the following Covid-19 Procedures
- Wash your hands for a min of 20 seconds multiple times a day. Minimum when returning to the building from outside, when using the washrooms and before eating.
- Maintain Social Distancing of 6 feet.
- Disinfect any common areas that you touch (lunch table, microwave, fridge door, washrooms)
- In person meetings should be limited to those that are mandatory only. Whenever possible do a virtual meeting. If you do have an in-person meeting, then you need to social distance. Anyone that you meet, should be asked if they are not feeling well or if they have anyone in their home who is sick. They also need to have not travelled internationally in the last 14 days.
- If you are sick, stay home.

Covid 19 update from Portal Crane Parts, ltd.
Portal Crane is responding to the Covid19 pandemic with guidance from the health professionals in our area. While responding we remain committed to our clients, suppliers and employees during this time.
Steps we have taken have been guided by the BC Center for Disease Control (BC CDC) with regards to enhanced cleaning and twice daily disinfecting of common surfaces and reinforced hand hygiene. We are monitoring both the BC CDC web site and the Canada.ca public health website.
Further we have educated all our employees on social distancing and restricted visits to those that are necessary only (site visits for quotes and preventative maintenance inspections, etc.). While we remain open, we will not be shaking hands and we will try and keep 6 feet apart at all times at a client site and at our office.
We have asked our partners to see if we can change our in-person meetings to online if possible.
Finally, we have told all employees that if they feel ill to stay home. They should then go to the BC CDC website to see the symptom tracker. If they feel concerned still, they are to take steps as advised by the BC CDC and to call for support from them if required.
We are trying to do our part to keep this virus from spreading so that we can support all our family, friends and partners.

Portal Crane
Portal Crane Parts Ltd. was incorporated in 1987 and is a global supplier for lumber and bulk material handling bridge cranes throughout the world. Precision Crane
In 1995, Precision Crane was developed, covering all of British Columbia, parts of Alberta and the Western region of the US. We are an authorized distributor for all major crane and hoist manufacturers, allowing us to supply, install and service all types of industrial material handling cranes, hoists, winches and other lifting equipment.
Our team of licensed technicians are qualified with over 10,000 hours of experience to perform inspections on cranes and hoists that exceed WorkSafeBC regulations. We offer various services to our customers; including annual preventative maintenance inspections, repairs, installations, commissioning, safety training and upgrades. BRELX was introduced by the Portal Crane Group in 2013.
